Terror that...
Ever since 9/11 , most of the people around the world have been on their toes looking out for 'terrorists'.
Before 9/11, my definition of 'terrorists' would be a team from the gameCounterstrike. But it is only after 9/11, i've come to a realization that terrorists are quite real after all. And the worst part is, they're not only situated in one country but rather, around the world. No wonder everyone's pretty freaked out whenever something extra-ordinary suddenly takes place in their daily routined lives. The first thing that comes to mind would be, an act of terrorism?
Like take for example, the recent accident where the bridge in Minneapolis collapsed killing at least 7 people (up till now only could be more i don't know), it was stated that;
"Homeland Security Department spokesman Russ Knocke also said the collapse did not appear to be terrorism-related."
Events like these, it's understandable that the possibility of an act of terrorism are 50/50 but it's sometimes funny seeing people today getting over-paranoid over the whole terrorism thing that they're forgetting simple causes like accident, stupidity, carelessness, etc.
Imagine 10 years down the road, your everyday life seems to be affiliated with acts of terrorism.
You can't start your car. Terrorists did something to it.
You forgot to bring your homework. The terrorists took it.
Your dog crapped in your house. Could be a terrorist dog.
Go shopping and realized prices went up. Must be because of terrorists.
Your boss doesn't wanna give you an increment. He's a terrorist.
You can't get a boner when you wanna make out with your wife. You've got a terrorist penis.
Oh and by the way, i have a brother who was a terrorist. A fat and retarded terrorist that is. Or at least he think he was one. Sometimes the thing he does just makes me wonder...have we been eating the same rice and breathing the same air? Haha. Some of you might have seen this.
But on a serious note, terrorism are real unfortunately. There are people who died because of terrorist attacks. With this, i urge you guys to please pray for the South Korean hostages currently being abducted by the Talibans in Afghanistan. Updates on this heartbreaking crisis can be found here.
